Overview
At-Large Recorder is the only PC Software that allows capturing/recording/saving video directly from your SlingBox. At-Large Recorder recordings are perfect reproductions from the original stream, so by recording from Slingbox you get the best possible quality. All videos are recorded as Windows Media Video files, and can be played on any PC as well as other gadgets supporting Windows Media videos. At-Large Recorder is very easy to use - just one click is required to record from Slingbox.

Starting a Recording from Slingbox
Here's how to start a recording:
- With SlingPlayer closed, Open At-Large Recorder, and click Record. The New Recording dialog appears.
- Enter the Finder ID or IP Address and Port information for your SlingBox. Enter the password.
- To save this configuration for reuse, click Save As, and enter a name for this SlingBox. (The next time you start a recording, you can just pick it from the list of saved SlingBox configurations.
- You may also want to test the configuration to be sure it works properly. Click Test Setup, and a connection test will occur:
- Once you have finished entering the SlingBox information, click Next to start entering channel and scheduling information into the Setup Recording dialog:
- Under the Save Recording To heading, enter a folder where you'd like your recordings to go.
- Under Start Recording At, select Start Now for immediate recording, or Start Later to schedule an automatic recording.
- Set a channel and a duration for the recording
- To save this program information for later, click Save As, and enter a name for this recording.
- Click Finish
Playing Slingbox Recordings
You can play Slingbox recordings in two ways - either by clicking the Play button, or by navigating to the folder with your recordings.
- To play the most recent recording: Click the Play button. An empty player appears.
- Click the History button. Your most recent recordings appear:
- Click on a file, then click Play to watch it. In a few seconds, the video appears in Windows Media Player.
Scheduling Tricks
The Scheduling feature of At-Large Recorder works as long as At-Large Recorder is running. Remember this simple concept, and everything will make sense.
To cancel an upcoming scheduled recording simply close the running instance of At-Large Recorder.
To schedule multiple recordings open a new instance of At-Large Recorder, and set up another recording. You can have several At-Large Recorder windows open simultaneously.
Note: You can not record two shows at the same time from a single SlingBox.
