    How to record/capture embedded streaming video

    Streaming video recording from an embedded media player doesn't vary a lot from a regular streaming media recording.

    Note that at this time only video streams without DRM protection of the following formats can be recorded: Flash video and audio, Windows Media, RealVideo, QuickTime, Silverlight video, Nullsoft Video.

    Also you will most probably fail to record from embedded players besides embedded Adobe Flash Player, embedded Windows Media Player (WMP), embedded RealPlayer (RealOne Player), embedded QuickTime player, embedded Nullsoft player.

    To record Flash video and audio, Windows Media, RealVideo, QuickTime, Nullsoft Video streaming video please use a stream recorder.

    To record DRM protected video streams and other problematic video streams like MoveMediaPlayer videos, Silverlight videos, Nullsoft video using UNSV protocol, QT video using protocols other than HTTP, you may use Screen capture software.
